I tried the Bukhari rice along with Afghani kebab and chicken, and the flavors were both fresh and satisfying. The portions were generous, easily enough for three people. The restaurant itself was clean, and the service was efficient and friendly. Priced around 7 OMR including drinks, this spot is ideal for those looking for a budget-friendly meal without compromising on quality. The standout for me was the kebab, perfectly seasoned, and truly the highlight of the meal.

Food was exceptional. Everything tasted amazing. The skewers, kebab, kofta, kabul beef, Bukhari and charcoal chicken were so tender and juicy. Also, their pizza is exceptionally lovely. It is more like an american pizza with a middle eastern. Service was good, and food didn’t take so long to be ready. However, toilets need extra care. They are not clean and I was hesitant to use them for even hand wash.

We recently had the chance to dine at this Afghan restaurant, and overall, it was a pleasant experience with a few hits and misses. The Kabuli pulav was absolutely delicious — the rice was fragrant and perfectly cooked, with tender chunks of meat and a delightful balance of sweetness from the raisins and crunch from the nuts. The kababs were equally impressive, well-marinated, juicy, and grilled to perfection. These two dishes alone make the visit worthwhile. However, the soup was quite disappointing. It tasted like a plain mixture of cornstarch and water, lacking any real flavor or seasoning. It felt more like a filler item than a thoughtfully prepared dish. That said, if you’re in search of authentic Afghani cuisine, this place is definitely worth a try, especially for the mains. The ambiance was modest but comfortable, and the service was courteous. Just don’t set your expectations too high for the starters.
